This family-owned farm is located in the western part of Central Valley in Costa Rica. They have their own micro mill and grow a variety of cultivars, which the family carefully processes at the peak of ripeness under the authority and direction of matriarch Dona Maria Elena. Their impeccable method of processing and attention to detail produces one of the finest washed coffees in Central Valley. This particular lot is very rare, as these Villalobos trees produce orange cherries when ripe. Identified by Dona Maria Elena and processed separately, there are limited roasts available of this special coffee.
